For many people in the market for a full size pickup truck, a Toyota dealership is not the first place they would think to look.  It should be.  The Toyota Tundra is more capable and powerful than its competitors and it carries on Toyotas traditions of quality and reliability in fine form.  You would be well advised to consider it when looking to buy a new full size pickup.

The Tundra is available in a variety of cab and body styles, making it easy to put together the package that is most appropriate for your needs.  This also means that the price of a new Tundra can vary considerably, also increasing the likelihood that you can find a Tundra to match your budget.

Even the Tundra’s most basic model brings with it a whole lot of muscle and great utility.  The grade trim, the only one available for the regular size cab, can be outfitted with either a 6.5 or an 8 foot bed and either a V-6 or V-8 engine.  It is available in both rear wheel and four wheel drive models and starts at around $23,000.  If you are not anticipating many passengers and your main purpose is hauling or towing, this truck is a great, economical choice.

The SR5 and the Limited trim offer the option of a double cab or the even larger CrewMax.  The double cab, like the regular, can be paired with either the 6.5 foot or 8 foot bed but provides greater passenger room inside. 

The Tundra’s spacious CrewMax 4 door cab is roomier than any other cab available on any truck in the full size pickup class.  It is available in either the SR5 or the Limited trim with a 5.5 foot bed.  This combination is ideal if you are aiming to use your truck for work or more for family transportation or outdoor sporting trips.  The 5.5 foot bed size still provides ample space to hold the equipment for most any recreational activity, while the spacious cabin allows passengers to ride in style and comfort.
