For many Toyota Tacoma owners there comes the sad day when they have outgrown their truck and want to move to something bigger and better. With the switch from the Tacoma up to the Tundra comes a bunch of exciting features, more power, and more options as far as what the truck is capable of doing.
If your Tacoma is paid off upgrading to a new Tundra is as easy as driving to the dealership and driving home with your new truck. Michael’s Toyota will offer a fair trade in value if that is what you want to do with your old truck.
Buying a new Tundra will involve picking from many more options than the Tacoma has available. This is both one of the best qualities of the Tundra. You will get a fully customized truck that does what you want it to do but it could take a while to pick between all the features. There are three different cab options (Regular, Double, and Crewmax) and ten different add on packages that will add to the functionality of your new truck. Not to mention all of the additional interior features to choose from. With all of these options available it is a good idea to look online and decide on the features you want before making your way to the dealership.
The upgrade from Tacoma to Tundra is sure to leave you satisfied with all of the additional features, the higher power, and the greater towing capacity. The only drawbacks are the higher cost of the Tundra, and the lower fuel economy (EPA estimated 15/19 compared to 20/26 mpg) but for many the features and added power make it more than worth it.
