When the dilemma of whether to go with Toyota Tacoma with the access cab or to spring for the double cab presents itself there are some things that should be kept in mind.

First and foremost, if the truck is going to be used to tote around adults very often they will not be very comfortable in an access cab. The double cab provides much more space for back seat passengers. If the truck is going to be used as a family vehicle a double cab really is the best option unless there will only be very small children in the back.
