Toyota has always been serious about providing the most possible options for their consumers and their Sienna model of mini-vans is a prime example. The van, which has been around for the better part of the last decade has seen a number of tweaks and changes in that time frame and in 2010 gets another new remodel, boosting its available features and adding some more power to the body of a van that was always compared favorably to its American cousins.
The new version of the Sienna now has much more third row and cargo space, and now comes available as a 6 speed automatic transmission, something that many people have been interested in, considering the power under the hood. While the Sienna continues to sit back in the third or fourth spot in sales, the van is actually one of the top performers in a number of categories and there is word that a hybrid model will be in the works for the next remodel in a couple of years.
For anyone that is seeking a good, high quality minivan that has enough power to get around, enough space to haul children, pets and cargo, and the right versatility for every member of the family, the 2010 Sienna gives everything needed. From its most basic of features to its upgraded transmission and boosted cargo space, the Sienna has become one of the top tier vans in the country and continues to add new features every year.
There has been a great deal of talk and hype over the new systems that have been implemented into so many of the different luxury cars in recent years. Their ability to quickly and easily find parking spaces and even to help you get into those parking spaces has become legendary as a sign of a big, expensive vehicle. However, with the new 2010 model of the Prius, Toyota has made it possible to get similar functions out of its hybrid flagship vehicle - something no one would have thought possible only a few years ago, especially in a mid-priced compact car.
The Intelligent Parking Assist works by analyzing parking spots and telling itself exactly how much space is there. It will then, if you turn it on, park itself automatically, using the bare minimum of motions to effectively utilize space with no risk of getting hit or hitting any other cars. It does all this using IPA sonar technology, the kind of thing used by airplanes and ships that are moving into and out of ports. You will be able to not only see the effects of this on your touch screen display but will be able to turn it off whenever you need to if you are concerned about a particularly small space or if you would rather park on your own.
The Intelligent Parking Assist feature is another available option put into place on the 2010 Prius that will help to make the act of parking a fear of the past. It has been tested extensively on Toyota’ luxury line of Lexus vehicles and has shown that it can work effectively without causing any problems for the driver or the passengers.

One thing the new 2010 Prius has managed to do that many people have long clamored for is add a huge bevy of new available features that help make it a more exciting and more accommodating car than they’re used to seeing. One such feature is the new available Solar Roof - which works with the sun’s rays to help power the cooling system in the car’s cabin.
The basic idea behind the new solar roof is that when it is hit by direct sunlight, all but guaranteed on the kinds of hot and humid days that require air conditioning, it will absorb the rays from the sun and then convert them to electricity that can be used to power the Air conditioning system in the car. The more intense the sun’s rays, the more efficient the car is at converting those rays. Instead of losing fuel efficiency when the sun pops up, you actually get a little better - something that no other car on the road can offer in quite the same way.
Additionally, the glass used in the Prius’s windshield and other windows is designed to protect the driver from harmful UV rays while reducing glare from the sun, a problem that may have been brought on by the advent of a much lower coefficient of drag. Instead, those inside the car are made much more comfortable thanks to how the Prius interacts with the weather outside. Keep in mind that the solar roof is an available option and does not come standard on all Prius models.

Occasionally we like to share some of the nice notes we get from our customers.
Good Morning,
I purchased a 2001 Toyota Prius this Saturday. While people most frequently write to “complain” about this or that, I am not. Bill Boston not only made showed me autos which matched my expressed needs, he was extremely pleasant and affable. He made the whole experience a positive and enjoyable one. Buying a car is normally not an experience that most people describe as pleasurable. However, I am happy to say that I walked away very excited with my purchase, satisfied that I received a fair price. I will most definitely pass on this positive word of mouth to my friends, whose purchasing power far exceeds mine. :) I also was impressed with the service I received in the finance department, which of course is the least exciting department. Much less so that the cookie and coffee area. The only downside is that I drank almost three cups of coffee. This, combined with my excitement over my purchase, caused me to sleep approximately 3 hours last night.
Thank you,
DS
The Toyota Tundra has been the full sized truck on Toyota’s lineup of vehicles for some time now, providing the durability and performance of a Toyota in the biggest possible package that you can buy. In 2010, Toyota has upgraded its current line of Tundras and made it possible to boost a slew of features that the truck has offered for some time.
To start with, the 2010 Tundra boasts a 381 Horsepower V8, the largest in the American market, and is expected to be given a slight boost in the future. The base model engine of the truck is expected to be a 4.6L V8 with upwards of an additional 30 HP off the lot and a boost to fuel efficiency in the amount of about 2-3 MPG on average.
The vehicle has a ton of different new luxury options in recent years as well that are expected to return in one form or another - including the likes of all sorts of power options, heated mirrors and windows, nav systems, and boosts to the interior that are usually only available on cars and SUVs. The Tundra, while built for working, is a perfectly suitable commuter vehicle with among the best in the industry MPG rating for its size.
The 2010 Tundra is going to provide just about anything someone might need in their fleet or home vehicle without sacrificing all of those things you need like durability and longevity.

There has been a lot of talk in recent weeks about how Toyota has remodeled their longstanding Prius for 2010 and what new features are coming standard in the car. That talk has been punctuated by a massive advertising campaign that shows off just how eco friendly the new release of the car is (and reminds everyone that the Prius is still atop the charts in sales and MPG ratings).
The essence of the advertising campaign is of course to be fun and eco friendly - with a slew of interactive, modern art floating across the screen and working in conjunction with the car. Bright colors, white Priuses and a slew of animals and plant life fill the screen, rushing toward the future and making it clear that Toyota wants us all to see the Prius as the car of the future.
While this very may well be true, the Prius is not resting on its laurels as a highly efficient car. The new model is also throwing out a lot of new innovations such as solar panels that are used to power the air conditioning system or exhaust recycling that helps to power the heating system. The car has been tweaked in thousands of little ways that may never be completely uncovered and that now help to reduce the fuel used by the vehicle in almost any situation.
In general, Toyota has a lot to be proud about in their 2010 remodel of the Prius and has made a point of showing us everything they can. With dozens of new features and a wide array of interest from multiple sectors, the Prius is as great as ever for those seeking an eco-friendly, comfortable compact.
The 2010 Prius has been built around the idea of providing the most efficient car on the market without sacrificing any of the amenities that many drivers have come to expect in the top end model cars of the 21st century. That said, Toyota has managed to find dozens of new ways to make the car more eco friendly and to integrate it better into the environment without sacrificing the comfort and drive of the car.
The highest profile of those features and the one that Toyota has touted the most in its commercials and beyond is that of the solar panel roof that will allow you to power your air conditioning unit without using a drop of fuel or any of the power from your battery. Additionally, you’ll be able to use the exhaust heat from your car to heat the cabin, recycling a valuable energy source that many cars just waste and spit out into the atmosphere.
There are other options as well, including the likes of the lower friction tires that reduce the amount of drag on the roadway. The lower profile of the Prius in 2010 is the best among any consumer vehicle and the car now has three different driving modes including one that is battery only and another that allows you to kick the vehicle into higher gear and drive a bit faster.
The 2010 Prius is a study in upgrades - providing dozens of small new features that add up an incredible new whole - boosting the overall production of the car in many ways that could not normally be done. It’s not just a remodel, it’s a heck of an upgrade for the most fuel efficient car on the road today.
Toyota’s Sequoia line of SUVs has often been touted as among the best and largest of the vehicles on the market for a number of reasons, providing a wide array of different options for anyone looking to take their SUV out into the woods or haul their children half way across the country. The 2010 model of the Sequoia, while not a complete remodel, offers a bevy of features - including some new ones that were not previously available.
To start with, the Sequoia comes back with a larger, more powerful V8 engine - the same one used on Toyota’s award winning line of trucks. The available upgrade sports a 381 HP rating on a 5.7L V8, the kind of engine that will get just about anything done. Add to that the ability to seat up to 8 passengers and slide the rows of seating around at will and you can carry just about anyone or anything anywhere you need to go. The Sequoia can also haul up to 10,000 lb in towing weight with the available towing package and comes with the best in new luxury features such as the rear DVD system, back up camera, navigation system, and climate control (all available options).
The 2010 Sequoia takes a great package of features and upgrades that have become the standard for Toyota and puts them all in place in a way that will allow anyone to enjoy just about anything about their new vehicle. From the biggest and most spacious of cargo room to a variety of outdoor uses, the Sequoia proves that it brings a bit of everything for everyone.
The Toyota Prius has always been at the top of the list for fuel efficiency in a major market vehicle with an average EPA rating hovering upwards of 50 MPG. This time around, the car has hit and exceeded that magical 50 mark with a slew of new features that work to chip away at the amount of fuel used by the Prius. Here are a few of the more impressive new features being used on the 2010 Prius to help boost fuel mileage.
The engine is now completely beltless, relying on a more advanced, less friction heavy process of operating the cylinders. Additionally, special tires have been implemented to reduce friction between the tires and the road, a common cause of increased fuel use. The car now also uses the power of the sun to infuse the air conditioning system and has a heat and exhaust recovery system that will recycle the excess exhaust from the car into the heating system more efficiently.
A new powertrain has helped to reduce the use of the engine and the Prius is one of the few full hybrids, which means that it operates solely on the electric engine when possible, reducing the need for any gas most of the time.
By combining the new features that Toyota has added to the Prius in 2010 with the industry leading Hybrid system that has been in the car for the last 10 years, the newest model of the Prius is among the most efficient cars in the world, capping 50 MPG and maintaining its position atop the hybrid sales charts.
