Pickup trucks are not a one-size-fits-all type of vehicle. As a pickup owner, you need a truck that not only meets your needs and can handle the difficult tasks you throw at it, but also one that reflects your personality.
Sometimes, that means something beyond the standard features and options. It means adding something outside the box, doing something unexpected. It means something like a Toyota Racing Development (TRD) package, like the two available for the 2012 Tundra.
If want your truck to stand out and turn heads, the TRD Sport package is right up your alley. Choose from a sporty Black or Radiant Red exterior paint job, accented by a black fabric interior. The color keyed grille surround and bumpers add to the sporty look and feel, which is capped off with 20-inch carved alloy wheels. That’s the kind of truck people pay attention to. (Available with 5.7L V8 engine, 6 speed automatic transmission and 4×2 wheel drive only.)
Then there’s the TRD Rock Warrior package, which is designed to make your already tough Tundra even tougher. BFGoodrich All-Terrain tires are wrapped around 17-inch forged alloy wheels, which support the truck via rugged Bilstein shocks. With four wheel drive and a Double Cab or CrewMax cab/bed combination, a Tundra TRD Rock Warrior is designed to be able to go anywhere and do anything.
When you’re looking for your next pickup, look for one that goes the extra mile with a TRD package.

With prices at the pump soaring high and likely to stay there, it’s only normal that you have considered getting a hybrid.
But there’s a problem: hybrids are tiny. There’s no way they can accommodate your family or active lifestyle. Yes, that has been the case before, but no more, thanks to the Prius v, a new addition to the Prius family.
The Prius v was designed with people like you in mind. People who need a sedan with a back row of seats that can actually comfortably seat two. People who have cargo larger than a breadbox or would like to have a place to put suitcases when they go away for the weekend.
You see, the Prius v is a redesign of the traditional Prius, adding 50% more cargo room than the regular 3rd generation Prius. There’s so much room in this car that it not only has more cargo volume than most compact cars, but even more than most small SUVs. The rear seats even slide and recline for additional room and flexibility.
Of course, it also includes the same Toyota hybrid technology that has made Prius a leading name in fuel efficiency for several years now. With the new Prius v, you can get the fuel efficiency you have been craving without having to radically change the way you use your car.
Rather than having a hybrid as your second car, you could make Prius v your only car.

Joey Logano’s biggest fan fantasizes about winning a visit from him in this Sponsafier commercial. Check it out!
Choosing an SUV is not always a simple task. The whole field of SUVs has widened considerably since its introduction, from a time when each brand had maybe one model to choose from, and that was it. Now there are several classes of SUVs, plus crossovers and harder to categorize specialty vehicles.
Frankly, the whole thing can be rather daunting.
Two options offered by Toyota are the FJ Cruiser and the 4 Runner. Both are quality vehicles, reliable and well suited to traversing difficult terrain. Each has its own unique strengths, and you may find upon closer inspection that one meets better with your needs than the other.
Take the 4Runner, for instance. With available four-wheel-drive and 270 horsepower V6 engine, it can take you and up to six of your friends on a wilderness adventure. You will arrive in style and comfort, and the available navigation system can even make sure that get back safe and sound.
While the 4Runner will do for weekend trips just off the beaten path, the FJ Cruiser is designed for some serious adventures. The wide track, steep departure angles and heavy duty tires enable it to cover nearly any terrain, and the standard water-resistant upholstery and all-weather flooring keep your adventures from taking their toll.
To be thorough, you may also consider more mundane information in making your decision: the 4Runner has better EPA estimated fuel economy, whereas the FJ Cruiser has a lower starting retail price.
Whether you go with a 4Runner or an FJ Cruiser, your adventures have certainly only just begun.

One of the first and most innovative names in hybrid automobiles is at it again, as the Toyota Prius now comes available in four tantalizing flavors. If you have been considering getting a hybrid, but haven’t been sure if the Prius is right for you, now is the time to explore the new line.
First up is the Prius V, designed with increased room for family and cargo. The Prius V can easily accommodate your family and its active lifestyle, with a cargo capacity that is greater than 80% of small SUVs on the market today. The second row of seating is far from an afterthought. The back seats slide and recline, allowing complete seating for four.
On the other end of the size spectrum is the Prius C, destined to be the most compact and affordable of the Prius family. Although only in concept phase, it will be available soon, with greater EPA estimated fuel economy and a lower price tag than the 3rd generation Prius.
Also coming soon is the Prius Plug-In Hybrid, which features not only the same great Toyota Hybrid technology that has powered the Prius for years, but also a rechargeable electric motor for an even greener driving experience. Plug it in and use the electric motor for short jaunts, or use the hybrid gas engine for longer trips. Thanks to this new feature, the new Plug-In model boasts a whopping estimated 87 equivalent miles per gallon.
And of course, there is also the 3rd Generation 2011 Prius, the flagship that brought the hybrid to the mainstream. It still boasts an impressive EPA estimated 51 miles per gallon on the highway.
With so many choices, it’s hard to go wrong with a Prius.
It seems like prices are rising on everything these days. Prices are through the roof on essential things like home energy costs, groceries and taxes. Everyone is tightening their belts to make ends meet.
That means cutting expenses wherever possible, so if you are looking to buy a new car, you may think you will be stuck with whatever you can get. As it turns out, though, there are plenty of affordable options is in Toyota’s lineup.
Toyota features four vehicles with price tags starting at under $19,000 and three more starting at under $25,000. Those aren’t just compact cars either– that budget-friendly lineup includes a pickup, an SUV and even the popular Prius.
Take a closer look at three Toyota vehicles priced under $25K.
The Camry has long been a favorite of affordable car mavens, as it offers a great deal of style, as well as great fuel economy and a reputation for reliability. In short, it’s a great family sedan that starts at under $22,000.
Speaking of family-friendly cars, have a look at the RAV4. Ranked the Best Overall Value among compact crossover vehicles, the RAV4 provides the benefit of available features like four wheel drive and three rows of seats. Starting at under $23,000, there’s no denying it’s an excellent value.
Lastly, if you ever thought that a pickup truck couldn’t be affordable, you have never paid attention to the Tacoma. Starting at under $17,000, the best-selling Tacoma is not only inexpensive, but tough, rugged and thoroughly customizable.
Working within a budget doesn’t have to mean getting a vehicle that’s inadequate. You will find that Toyota has options that fit nearly every budget.

The Prius V: More Prius, more possibilities.
Since the beginnings of the auto industry, there has been one largely accepted trade-off that all car shoppers have had to face when selecting a new vehicle. If you want an economical car, you must sacrifice performance.
When SUVs entered the picture, it added a new wrinkle. Sure, you could get that rugged SUV you want, with the powerful engine, four wheel drive and roomy interior for plenty of cargo…but you’ll pay a fortune at the pump.
These are the tradeoffs car buyers have always accepted; you can have one or the other, but not both. Until now, that is, thanks to the Highlander Hybrid.
As you well know by now, a hybrid vehicle is one that uses a combination gas/electric motor system to reduce overall fuel consumption. In the case of the Highlander, however, the word “hybrid” means so much more. It combines the rugged, burly features that SUV owners have coveted, like a standard 3.5L V6 engine, standard four wheel drive and a standard 3500 pound towing capacity, with Toyota hybrid technology. The result is a true mid-size SUV that gets an EPA estimate 28 miles per gallon highway while having room to seat seven.
The Highlander Hybrid has changed the rules of the game, making it possible to have fuel economy and rugged performance in a single package. No trade-offs required here.
