2011 Toyota Camry Hybrid

2011 Toyota Camry Hybrid

Most people think of buying a hybrid as a way to help take care of the environment and save money on gas. And for some hybrids, that’s about all you get. The Camry Hybrid is a different story, however. From the front of the grill to the rear spoiler, this car has it all. You won’t feel like you’re settling for anything in this hybrid. In fact, you’ll probably forget it’s a hybrid – until you check the gas gauge, that is.

The Camry Hybrid can be equipped with luxury features like heated front seats, heated outside mirrors, leather trimmed seats and a power adjustable passenger seat. Couple that with one of the great sound system packages featuring things like a 6-disc in-dash CD changer, eight speakers, hands-free phone capability, auto sound leveling and the capability of playing MP3s, and you’ll really feel like you’re riding in style.

From the 16” 15-spoke alloy wheels to the front end mask and rear spoiler, you’ll be able to put together the best looking car you can imagine.

And the list of great features doesn’t stop once you’re inside this car either. Toss in a rear seat entertainment system, sport shift knob and remote engine starter while you’re at it. And to protect your investment, you can equip your Camry Hybrid with Toyota’s VIP RS3200 Plus security system, one of the most reliable in its class.

2010 Highlander Hybrid

2010 Highlander Hybrid

Switching from a normal Highlander to the Hybrid feature brings with it a number of welcome features that really make the extra cost worth it.

The first change that is usually noticed as with any other Hybrid is the large increase in fuel efficiency. An EPA estimated increase of around 7 MPG over the basic model and 9 MPG over the other two when driving around town. This increase in fuel economy may not seem like that big of a deal but it will make a real difference on the gas bill each month.

Another feature is the switch to electric steering. The steering gets much less feedback from the vehicle and will be much easier to handle. This offers a smoother driving experience.

The Highlander Hybrid comes with an electronic on demand 4-wheel drive mode that offers superior power and control compared to the standard 4-wheel drive.

There is also an additional engine added to the rear of the Hybrid that adds extra power, control, and the ability to regenerate power when braking.

The basic version of the Hybrid has more storage space available for carrying around things because they took out the last row of seats. This could either be a bonus or a deal breaker for people. If the extra row of seats are needed then the Hybrid Limited would be the better option.

The Highlander Hybrid makes for a smoother easier to handle ride with its’ advanced 4-wheel drive and electric powered steering. The better handling coupled with the better fuel efficiency makes the Toyota Highlander Hybrid a nice upgrade from the standard Highlander editions.

2011 Toyota Avalon

2011 Toyota Avalon

Toyota’s intent ever since they first released the Avalon in 1994 has been to provide a true luxury car that is also affordable and well made. To this end, they have constantly incorporated new features into the sleek interior and spacious interior of this magnificent model. And when it comes to the new 2011 model of the Avalon, Toyota has managed to continue this trend, adding even more exciting features to the car that already had everything – or so we thought.

The addition of Bluetooth Streaming Audio on the 2011 Avalon is one of the more ingenious and exciting new features this car has to offer. With this wireless audio system, you can stream music from your Bluetooth enabled device and play it through the sound system of the car. You can even stream Pandora or any other type of Internet radio.

And just to be sure you can hear all of that great music that you’re streaming, the 2011 Avalon also includes an interior cabin space specially designed to keep outside noises out. Additionally, many of the Avalon’s exterior features, such as the grille and even the door handles, are designed specifically to eliminate wind noise as much as possible.

Couple all of that with a state of the art, incredibly finely tuned suspension system and you may well forget you’re actually out on the road when you’re riding in a 2011 Toyota Avalon. Of course, these are only a few of the many new and unique features that this vehicle has to offer, but they make it easy to see why the 2011 Avalon is a tough car to pass up.

When going out and getting a new SUV there are a number of different things that should be considered before trying to decide on one of the several models Toyota has available.

2010 Toyota Sequoia

The first thing that should honestly be considered is how many people are going to regularly be riding in this SUV? There are certain SUVs like the Highlander which are more well suited to carrying large numbers of people than say the 4Runner. If you have a large family or plan on carrying a lot of people often then an SUV with more spacious seating is a plus. One of the best SUVs for this purpose is the Sequoia. The Sequoia has enough room to sit eight comfortably.

2010 FJ Cruiser

Another very important factor for many SUV buyers is the fuel economy of the vehicle. If the SUV is going to be used to travel a lot better fuel efficiency is a big issue. As far as fuel efficiency goes the Rav4 is the best option out there. It has enough room to seat many people comfortably and it still gets good gas mileage. The Rav4 is a great trip taking SUV.

It is also important to consider what the SUV is going to be used for. Whether or not it is going to be taken off road often can be a big issue and make a huge difference when deciding which vehicle to go with. The FJ Cruiser is the best value for an off road friendly SUV but it only has enough seating to support five passengers. The Land Cruiser is a more spacious option that is just as good off road but it comes at a much higher price than the FJ Cruiser. Taking in to consideration where the SUV is going to be driven is a great way to weed out those that do not fit well.

The Toyota Corolla is a great all purpose vehicle. It will probably work just fine for every day driving with the standard features that it comes with. There are some circumstances where it might be worth upgrading some of the features of the Corolla.

If you are a heavy traveler and will be driving long distances at least once a year then it will pay to spring for the cruise control feature which only comes standard on the Corolla XRS. Cruise will make those long trips a bit more bearable, who knows they might even be enjoyable.

If the Corolla is going to be used to drive to unfamiliar places often it will also be beneficial to pay extra for the very nice DVD navigation system offered for every model of the Corolla. With this system it will be much easier to figure out where you are supposed to be going.

Any music lover with a large CD collection, or someone who lives in an area with very few radio stations will benefit from buying the upgraded version of the stereo with the 6-disc changer and satellite radio. You get three months of XM Satellite radio for free with the stereo after that there will be a subscription fee though.

These three upgrades will go a long way to making the Corolla a very enjoyable vehicle to drive. The first time you have to go on a long trip and get lost the GPS will seem worth every penny.
